Lies

Lies

Did you hear them when they lied to us about a flight of fancy?
A moonlit view of make believe, a dream so dark and chancy
The faking of a wonderland without a rationality
Designed to guide assumptions that their journey was reality

Did you hear them when they lied to us about the falling towers?
Without a comprehension of the plucking of life's flowers
The tears and broken dreams, bring no sympathy to heart
No feelings in their darkened souls for families torn apart

Did you hear them when they lied to us about our distant past?
They told us we once swung in trees, from God's mould never cast
When we ask of our divinity, they shake their faceless heads
And tell us we are bound, by evolution threads

Did you hear them when they lied to us of a worldly spinning ball?
That water stuck upon it, and we believed it all
They moulded us hypnotically by TV's bated rapture
Our very souls they want from us, to tie and chain and capture

Did you hear them when they lied to us about our greatest wealth?
That pinnacle we value, our own begotten health
They hid from us the healing ways and caused a new concern
So they could feed us poisons, to make our stomachs churn

Did you hear them when they lied to us of saving vaccinations?
To keep us living healthily, without ill inclinations
And when they stand before us, those traitors in disguise
We recognize their hatred and their false flag bag of lies

Did you hear them when they lied to us of light that lives inside?
They said that it is worthless, a fake and fruitless guide
And the only one to worship, whilst living on this earth
Is he who's path is darkness, who's values have no worth

They want us to believe it all, no questions we should ask
About God's great creation, they toil so hard to mask
Let them tell us if they would, or even make a guess
What 'peace' they hope to capture, in life's holy game of chess?
